Dominika Scott-Jones is a collaborative scriptwriter creating visceral, female-centred stories across audio and screen. She primarily works in sci-fi, fantasy, and dystopian genres, using imaginative worlds to explore the real challenges women face today.

Concerned about how 50 Shades of Grey depicted "romance" to young women, Dominika wrote a trilogy in her mother tongue about a girl who must navigate the world of gods while sharing her body with a bloodthirsty demon. Destiny served as a metaphor for societal expectations, while the sense of freedom came from challenging those in power. Since then, Dominika has delved into female characters who fall seven times and rise eight, always throwing more grit under their feet.

Dominika is currently editing her supernatural thriller script, "Russian Roulette Hotel," which blends Constantine, Sin City, and Blade Runner 2049. Other examples of her work include the fantasy thriller "The Goddess of Loss" and the dystopian thriller “The Apex Agenda,” a Roadmap Top Tier Finalist, co-written with Tracy Todd. Dominika's stage plays “Scan Your Soul” and “Something Cursed and Something Blue” were performed at DunsPlayFest in 2025 and 2026.

Based in Cambridge and working in academia, Dominika earned a Master’s in Creative Writing and is preparing for a PhD on how female screenwriting duos collaborate - and why partnerships strengthen stories. Meanwhile, she guides early-career screenwriters through a 12-week Development Lab, taking projects from idea to pitch.
